I would be shocked if anyone said the scene above was not beautiful: the sun setting over the Blue Ridge Mountains with the profile of Grandfather Mountain to the left, brindled clouds and sun rays intertwined and even that strange little orb that always seems to show up on my pictures.
But I have a confession to make. This beauty is not the same without someone with whom to share it. There is something missing when you cannot share the ecstasy of such a sight.
I can stand being alone, eating alone, praying alone, reading alone...but I need a co-beholder to share such beauty.
