The First Call

This little convent in St. Mawgan Village is where I first saw a nun...and probably where I first became conscious of a spiritual journey. I just found this video and had no idea that the convent was struggling. They have been a part of my spiritual journey for decades, and I am sad to know that they have come upon hard times. The monastic life is not for all people, but if you are the least bit touched by it, you will enjoy this video. It offers a road less traveled, one where there is some of that "passes understanding" peace!
