Discipleship

By God's grace, I will do the work God sends me to do this week, remembering Jesus says, "as the Father has sent me, so I send you." (Jn. 20:21) entrusting my Discipleship Group to test and support this work.

My Discipleship Group meets every Tuesday at 9 am either face to face or electronically. We read the vows for the common practices necessary for us to help each other become better followers of Jesus Christ.

Those practices are pray, worship, serve, learn, give, work and join.

Today I am reflecting on the practice of work and call, listening to where in the Kingdom of God I am being led to do the work of a disciple.

This beautiful song lends itself to the practice of listening for call.
