A Season of Children

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go out and do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

HOWARD THURMAN

Children say the strangest things, some might say, but they also say the most amazing things. And they are the most alive creatures of all. Their unabashed joie de vivre can be infectious if we let it be. In response to my question "what do you want to do this summer", one of my grandchildren said she wanted to see God! As he wrote in his journal, another one said "imagine this scenario..." dreaming of a story about the battle of good and evil.

In this summer season, when many rules seem to go out the window and routine relaxes, listen to any children you come across and see how alive they are. Let their energy inspire you to be alive and be what the world needs.

This video below is what inspired my thoughts today!
