Find your Quiet Place
Psalm 130
I wait for the Lord; my soul waits for him; *
in his word is my hope.
Take Six has been a favorite of ours for years and years. We often play their music in the evening when my husband asks, "What's your favorite song?" a nightly event. Their music makes my soul smile, settle and remember.
Where is your quiet place? Where do you go to wait for the Lord?
In this season of Lent when we mark the time Jesus spent in the wilderness, I am reminded of the quiet places in the wilderness, the pauses in the middle of chaos, the soul stirring hopes that keep me going forward. I am comforted by the words that are my hope and keep me waiting for the Lord...but I hear best in that quiet place.
