Glorify

This beautiful 21st century icon by Ukrainian iconographer Lyuba Yatskiv gives new meaning to "He's got the whole world in his hands." I found it accompanied by a magnificent performance of "The Song of Moses" by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, the main line of which is "Who shall not fear thee O Lord and glorify thy name?"

In our pursuit of a word for the year, I offer Glorify as a possibility. Imagine if we were to embrace and project Glorify in the face of daily life and struggle...and envision this magnificent icon of God and God's great creative hands.
