The Holy Spirit

The third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, God moving among us, sustaining us ...How does the Holy Spirit operate in your world? As I listened to Indigenous Episcopal priests recently, I was reminded of their spirituality of the Earth, their extraordinary connection with every iota of Creation as a source of life and love and understanding of its Creator.

We do not have to look far for that connection, in fact a leaf, a blade of grass and this time of year a tiny new shoot all reveal the power of Creation. Yesterday I found myself staring out the window and intentionally only seeing and savoring the budding fig tree and not the scene beyond it. And then this song came to mind. So I prayed "Thank you, God, for your handiwork in this glorious place we call home."
